KCBC «Atakent»

JSC KCBC “Atakent” was founded by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 17 August 1992 №688 “On the formation of Kazakhstan’s business cooperation centre”.

The company “Atakent” has the organizational and legal form of a joint-stock company and was founded according to the Civil Code of Kazakhstan and by Presidential Decree, which has the full force of law.

The founders and management staff of JSC KCBC “Atakent” have sufficient capacity and experience to solve tasks for the implementation of the project.

JSC KCBC “Atakent” has high investment appeal, and remarkable economical, exhibition, fair and resource potential to support leading positions of exhibition activity in countries of Eastern Europe, the Central-Asian region, and CIS countries. Services provided by JSC “Atakent” matches the international level of exhibition service.

For years of activity JSC KCBC “Atakent” purposeful work was carried out on the reconstruction of all pavilions, buildings, facilities and other infrastructure.

Relationship with well-known western companies was established, and a collective of highly qualified specialists was formed. All of that allowed JSC KCBC “Atakent” to become one of the leading international centres of CIS and Eastern Europe holding exhibitions, fairs, and a break-in place for new technologies and technical innovations.

Today JSC KCBC “Atakent” is famous not only outside of Kazakhstan but also in CIS. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of the whole collective remarkable success were achieved in all directions.

Today, thanks to the purposeful work on the reconstruction of the pavilions, buildings, and facilities JSC KCBC “Atakent” become one of the biggest exhibition centres in Central Asia and CIS. Every year on the territory of JSC KCBC “Atakent” held 50-60 large national and international exhibitions with the participation of more than 8000 foreign firms and companies.

The financial and economic activity of “Atakent” can be divided into the following directions:

• Exhibition and fairs;
• Commercial activity;
• Building and investment activities;
• Entertainment and the recreation industry;
• Improvement of the environment.

In the market conditions the main task of JSC KCBC “Atakent” was and still is organizing and holding exhibitions and fairs of any scale. Exhibitions are the exact place where companies learn to show their products, introduce their face and create an image. The result of exhibition activities is – attracting the latest technologies, signing mutually beneficial contracts, and opening new branches. But time requires dynamics and development in all life spheres. That’s why in the XXI century JSC KCBC “Atakent” has new tasks:

• Establishment of strong economical, scientific, technical and cultural connections of Kazakhstan with other countries, international organizations and companies, and worldwide expansion of relationships established with companies, enterprises, and countries in the past, with an experience of cooperation with “Atakent”;
• Organizing and holding exhibitions, auctions, competitions, fairs, stock and international trading;
• Development of modern technology park structures;
• Development of international industrial and technological cooperation between enterprises;
• Creating mutually beneficial foreign investments and loans on the territory of the Republic and other countries;
• Demonstration domestic and foreign latest science, technology and newest technology achievements, and establishing business connections, contributing to their implementation into production;
